Mrs. Patricia Foland is the president of Maryland Research Services, LLC. She has considerable high-technology experience dating back to 1998 as a university engineering lecturer. She was born and educated in the Republic of Columbia, in South America. She lectured at both the Manuela Beltran University and the Antonio Narino University (both in Bogotá, Columbia) acting as an academic expert on theoretical electrical engineering topics.
After coming to the United States, in 2005, she became a U.S. citizen and played a significant part in her husband's first established business, Foland Enterprises.
During 2006-2008, she worked at the World Technology Evaluation Center, performing computer research, webpage design, public relations, and as MIS manager. In 2009 she was promoted to Vice President for International Operations, leading WTEC's industry-leading program of international research assessments.
Today, Patricia continues to fulfill those responsibilities at WTEC, but also has expanded her horizons to found her own high technology company. Maryland Research Services, LLC., which is classified as a woman-owned and minority-owned small business.
